Thanks for using our products and services ("Services"). The Services are provided by CargoMe. ("CargoMe"), located at Mikocheni Rose garden avenue Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our Services are very diverse, so sometimes additional terms or product requirements (including age requirements) may apply. Additional terms will be available with the relevant Services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those Services.

1. Rights and Liabilities

Cargo Me is dedicated to offer efficient, user friendly, and quick services to its users, riders, drivers/transporters. As a committed operator, Cargo Me will always ensure that its services are available and efficient to App users; however, it is not guaranteed that always the App will be immune to technical faults. Cargo Me shall not be liable in anyhow, for anything occurred because of technical fault, however, Cargo Me and its team will at all times work tirelessly to ensure that the App is user friendly and efficient.

YCargo Me shall not be liable in anyhow for any loss or damage that might occur before, during, or after transportation of the user’s cargo or any other person’s cargo, luggage or belonging. However, we will run a platform that will permit App users to air their comments and reviews about their drivers, and Cargo Me may use those reviews to locate the rider’s vehicle to users. However, this does not in anyhow transform obligation to Cargo Me, as to riders’ or drivers’ behaviour, or any other conducts or misconducts, actions or omissions

As long as Cargo Me just connects the user and rider/driver, it is hereby clarified that safety issues, routes, any other incumbrances or benefits on the trip shall not in anyhow be affiliated to Cargo Me

Cargo Me shall not be privy to any cargo or any other belonging of the user, and such cargo or belonging shall always remain in the user’s knowledge. Thus, in cases of illegal cargo or cargo whose transportation does not comply with any regulations in PRIVACY POLICY CARGO ME force in the United Republic, shall remain at the disposal of the user and or driver/user.

It should always be construed that, Cargo Me does not offer direct or indirect transport services to users or any other person, nor delivery services, or any other service other than connecting between users and riders/drivers for enabling user to transport his cargo with a nominated rider

In case there is any third party in respect of our services, Cargo Me shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for their actions or omissions, and no damage towards Cargo Me can be claims therefrom.

Cargo Me and or any of its officers shall enjoy the right not to be liable to any harm in respect of damages, fees, liabilities, losses, in any manner whatsoever, as a result of using or non-using of the App.

2. Fair use of the App

The Operator believes that every user, rider/driver/transporter, and any person who come into use of the App, uses it fairly and with no meditated intention to violate any of the laws in force in the United Republic of Tanzania or of any other jurisdiction

3. Cargo Me Licence on usage

The operator hereby grants a limited non-commercial use, payment-free usage of the App, non-sublicensable, non-exclusively, subject to these Terms and Conditions enshrined herein. The usage may be limited and revocable, and the use shall not extend to giving licence to the user, rider/driver/transporter, or any person whomsoever, to transfer or transact in any manner whatsoever

No copyright, or servicemark, or any other intellectual property right may be removed by any person. The law governing protection of all descriptions of copyright shall be applicable to the use and anything to do with the App.

4. Trip Requests, Cancellations, and Routes

Upon request by the user, Cargo Me will nominate riders/drivers near user’s location and the user will free to choose a rider/driver of his choice from the nominated list. For any reason, a user or rider/transporter may cancel his/her request, and upon cancelation by the rider/transporter, the user might choose to push for another request.

When a request is confirmed by the rider/transporter, and upon the prescribed rate and confirmation of pickup by the user, then the trip will be counted as to have begun to the preferred destination. Any change of trip shall be formally signified in the App and the rate shall be located accordingly.

For purposes of clarity, trips by the Driver shall be confirmed by the Transporter and the driver shall always be subject to the instruction and directives of his transporter regarding trips and his operations. Therefore, the driver’s account at Cargo Me shall be directly linked and controlled by his transporter. This clause does not apply to riders as defined in the interpretation clause of the Policy

Upon pick up, during and after the trip has ended, Cargo Me shall not be responsible for any action or inaction by the rider/driver/transporter or any other person including any State authority. All rates shall be imposed and charged as prescribed in the App, the same be collected by the rider/driver, and Cargo Me shall not have a place in such collections except for the charges it has imposed towards the PRIVACY POLICY CARGO ME rider/transporterfor Cargo Me services. Cargo Me takes no responsibility on any variation of rates, except as provided for in the App

5. Amendment

These terms and conditions may be subject to any amendment by the operator at any time; riders/drivers/transporters, and/or users may be notified through their emails or mobile phones or both
